Dear DNA Tech Core customers,
The Core will implement the following policies in an effort to comply with COVID-19 guidelines while ensuring the research needs of UC Davis continue to be met.
• We will limit access to the DNA Tech Core laboratory to only Core staff.
• “Sample Drop Off” will take place during normal hours but will be relocated to the hallway just outside of the DNA Tech Core lab. There will be a cooled drop-off box, instructions and a phone number to call with questions.
• Shared instruments (Covaris, Bioanalyzer, plate reader,Qubit, … ) will no longer be self-service; The DNA Tech Core staff will process the samples. Samples can be dropped off during sample drop off hours.
• For 10X Genomics samples, please coordinate your experiments closely with our expert, Diana Burkart dburkart@ucdavis.edu.
• Consultations will be held using Zoom meetings or phone calls. Please use this link to set up a meeting: https://dnatechlutz.
